Tshirts Approved for the Office
It’s amazing how polished a tee can look if it fits correctly and is accessorized well. During the hot summer months we are open to you wearing them to the office. We have written a guest blog post at Polyvore with tips on how to select tees for your body type. We have also merchandised them into office appropriate outfits so you can get the full look. Here we are going to show you some t-shirt options by price. Tees are one of those basics that tend to need to be replaced at least once a year. So, start shopping!
Shop at Target.com for quality at a steal. These tees are $8.99 and $12.99.
At Gap.com we love the favorite stretch tee for $16.50 and the cropped sleeve tee for $24.50.
When we are ready to splurge a little on super soft cotton, we head to shopbop.com. Vince Shirred Pima Cotton Tee is $78. Splendid Micro Stripe with cuffed and tabbed sleeves is $56.
When we are updating our closets for the summer, we usually stop at each of these sites. We stock up from Target and Gap then splurge a little on new tees from ShopBop.com. Since each brand has their own unique cut and fabrication we like the variety it brings to our work wardrobes.
Most of the styles we selected came in multiple colors, so click on the images even if your not sure of the color shown. Plus you can always find more great t-shirts in the apparel section of our site. If you haven’t already, stop by the Polyvore Blog and learn which silhouettes are best for you and how to make Workchic outfits with your t-shirts this summer.

I could not agree more. I have an assortment of tees from Target - scoop nexk, crew neck, v-neck, boyfriend - and pair them with different accessories to dress them up. They were completely affordable - no more than $8 each - so I don’t have to feel guilty when I buy a bunch in different colors. Plus, I have money left over for handbags, shoes, and, of course, cocktail rings and necklaces!

I often wear t-shirts to work. I think they’re a great basic for a fabulous statement necklace. They also look good under blazers. I stock up online at Forever 21. Their shirts are usually under $5! Just order big because they shrink.
