The Spring Collection from Tracy Reese was well thought out with practicality mixed into her personal flare for girly dresses. She added in more separates to mix and match pieces. Her palette was inspired by painter Pierre Bonnard and mixed sun-bleached brights with punches of bold color.

Elasticized bubble hems were a continuing theme. While these are hard to wear to work, they look fun marching down the runway. To get this look of structured and soft, mix tailored jackets or vests with full skirts.

From bubble hems to polka dots. This is a much more modern way to do a circular pattern. Whether in shades of black or blue, it is the focus of these looks. Remember when using a bold print, keep the rest of your outfit more basic. Adding a bold shoe is the perfect twist.
To start wearing Tracy’s styles for fall play with color and print. Pair with legging for casual days at the office.

Diane von Furstenberg’s Spring collection was nomad traveler chic. Floating layers and eclectic tribal inspired prints set the stage for a luxurious blend of urban and hippie styles. We always enjoy her show and this was no exception. Many of the looser layered styles were less likely to translate to your office so we focused on the slightly more tailored silhouettes.

From a classic DVF wrap dress, to a belted jacket, her collection utilized prints to there max. We love the pops of color achieved with piled on bangles and over-sized hobos.

Aqua and orange are some of our favorite colors for this Spring. While you may shy away from mixing and matching them, they are complimentary and have a sophisticated feel. The best way to experiment with colors you are unsure of is in a printed dress. Diane von Furstenberg shows you how with this collection.
Since this collection transitioned seamlessly from Fall, there are many styles you can pick up now that evoke the style for DVF’s Spring collection. Play with tribal prints, complimentary colors, and loose silhouettes.
