Constant Adjustment

For those of you who follow the US Open, you may have heard the commentary about Venus Williams’ sparkly dress. While we love pink and glitter as much as the next person, the problem was the fit. The dress rode up the entire match and needed constant adjustment.

It raised the question, how often are you adjusting your outfits during a typical work day?  We’d love to hear your thoughts on this common fit issue.

  • Having to constantly readjust is not only a distraction to others, but to you. Wearing something that fits well allows you to forget about yourself and be fully present and dedicated to the task at hand. Love the concept of the dress, but maybe it’s best for a red carpet and not the tennis court.

    I feel like I am forever adjusting my boobs, and that’s kind of awkward at an office. Being a DD cup isn’t as pleasant as it may sound, because no bra that I’ve come across (and that would be MANY) keeps me feeling exactly like I felt when I put it on in the morning.

    I’ll admit I adjust my skirt when I sit down and get up from my desk. I don’t wear skirts shorter than the tips of my fingertips, but sometimes it just rides up… I’m guessing it’s probably gotten a bit too tight.
