Style Me Monday – outfit ideas for Casual Fridays

Wearing conservative attire can be daunting and boring day after day.  Thus, there is Casual Friday to enjoy a day of dressing in more casual and comfortable styles.  It’s perhaps the best day to let your personal style shine through even more.  Keep in mind though, casual attire does NOT mean donning a sloppy outfit (unless you are working in a completely relaxed environment where your appearance is of no concern).

Here are several outfits from our favorite blogs that can easily work as CF outfits.  If you have a favorite work look you would like to share, we’d love to hear from you.  Please email us here with your (or a friend’s) photo or simply request a certain look you’d like to see featured in the future.

Love how she wore a pearl necklace to add a feminine touch.
Her necklace is $5 and the maryjanes are $15.  What a savvy lady!  (source)

Every working woman should own at least a couple of pairs.
They provide a really chic style in an instant whether paired with a blousy top or simple tee.

This spring, pair a short sleeve sweater with dressy trousers for an office-chic look.
The outfit below would’ve been better without the cowl neck top layered underneath.  (source)

This gray sheath dress can be worn alone or over a blouse as seen below.  (source)
Also, it can easily be dressed up (a similar style on First Lady Obama) or equally chic with a pair of flats.

A black blazer goes with everything but especially well with skinny jeans.  (source)
Cropped blazers are stylish and functional in spring and summer (in chilly offices).

Isn’t she just adorable or what?  She pulled off rolled-up trousers quite well
by balancing with a bold & bright red top and red hot pumps.
What a fun look to celebrate Fridays!  (source)
