What do you do for sore and tired feet after work? A foot bath can do wonders not just for your tired feet but the entire body. One thing I do for my health is a foot soak. I immerse my feet in warm water for 10 minutes in the evening (every other day). Even better with a hot cup of tea in hand and soft music playing. My mind and body feels incredibly relaxed during and afterwards.
I prefer a foot bath over a regular bath any day mostly due to the convenience factor along with its numerous health benefits. I’m currently using a Conair foot tub I was gifted last year. The whole machine works well except the loud noise when you press on the bubble/heat button which I don’t find a need for it anyway. You can definitely find a better one if you want more features.
I preheat some water in the microwave to mix with warm tap water. I like my water hot! After the soak, I put on some moisturizing mint lotion all over my feet and ankles and then put on a pair of comfy warm socks. Ever since I started doing this routine, my feet are baby soft, ultra smooth and overall healthier.
