Zooey Deschanel Collab with Dolce & Gabbana
At the Venice premiere of “Dreamin’ Wild,” Zooey Deschanel wowed with fantasy and old Hollywood allure. Her classic yet asymmetrical Dolce & Gabanna dress was a light cerulean blue with a trickle of translucent blue glass flowers beginning at the single sleeve and falling diagonally across the front. Meant to be a love letter to Venice, each glass flower was designed by local artisans. It also featured an oversized bow just behind her left hip and continued with a lengthy train.
The dress resulted from a collaboration between Deschanel and D&G and was styled by Ib Abdel Nasser.
Italian actress Micaela Ramazzotti appeared at the 79th Venice International Film Festival in a stunning red Dolce & Gabbana gown. The dress was a strapless mermaid gown, ruched throughout and adorned with sequins. She pulled off a classic, sensual look with beach waves and neutral makeup.
“The Office” actress Mindy Kaling recently shared photos of herself in a D&G floral dress, receiving comments from other celebrities and fans on her beauty and ability to pull off such a bold print. The long-sleeve black dress featured bright floral prints in pinks, blues, greens and yellows, which she paired with black stilettos, green and purple earrings with her hairstyle in soft, glamorous curls.
Singer Nicki Minaj recently got on stage at the MTV awards in a fuchsia Dolce & Gabbana gown. The dress featured a ruched waist, rhinestone encrusted bodice and a slit up to her thigh.
The show-stopping look was completed with pink shoes, nails, lipstick, eyeshadow, and hair, proving pink to be her color.
While not a celebrity, per se, K-pop CEO Yulee Choi dominated the red carpet at the Venice Film Festival. The South Korean appeared at the awards in a D&G Alta Moda gown featuring flowy tule and hand embroidery with crystals. The dress debuted last year at D&G’s Alt Moda catwalk.
Reality star Kendall Jenner pulled off a Dolce & Gabbana midi dress previously worn by Gisele Bündchen in 2000. The dress featured a feminine, metallic robot and was initially paired with leopard print pumps and fishnets, but Kendall modernized the look with sandals and a mini bag, paired with an updo and a subtle-but-bold blue eye shadow.
