Sunglasses are an essential item that I never leave the house without. They are a part of my fashion arsenal as well as a protective gear against the harsh sun rays. My latest pair is from Dharma Eyewear. If you have a fondness for eyewear and a keen sense of style, hop on over to dharmaco.com to check out their fantastic selection of both regular eyeglasses to sunglasses in a wide array of styles.
Dharma’s Golden Age sunglasses were a welcome addition to my sunglasses collection. The overall retro glam appeal was undoubtedly the best choice for me. The lightweight frame sits very comfortably while protecting my eyes from UV rays. I loved them the minute I put them on.
Oversized sunnies. They are the ultimate chic accessory in my opinion. I chose the Tortoise finish among the 3 color options. While the Indian Summer makes for perfect summer wear, the Onyx will add a nice dose of Jackie-O chicness to your everyday workwear. I’m looking forward to bright spring days to incorporate this pair into my outfits as you will see from future outfit posts.
There are plenty more styles at dharmaco.com to meet your personal needs whether they are simple reading glasses or cool aviators. Each pair offered from Dharma Eyewear does not cost more than $99. Plus, free shipping & returns for 30 days. All of the frames include a lifetime warranty as well. Dharma Eyewear will replace your frames, no matter what. Just pay $11.95 for shipping & handling.
The site offers a 3D virtual try-on feature which gives you the closest experience of you trying out the eyewear in person. It was a first for me to try out this virtual 3d mirror. The glasses appear to be larger on the face at certain angles (I’m trying out Monsoon sunglasses below) but I have to say, this virtual try-on tool is pretty cool and very easy to use.
Every eyewear shop should have this online tool for people to see which glasses or sunglasses look the best before buying. Using the live cam gives you a better idea of how the glasses look on you compared to just using a stagnant photo. Simply use your webcam to try out all your favorite pairs on the site. And see immediate results!
The brand name Dharma is synonymous to their core mission ~ offering value and good-will. While providing high quality and affordable eyewear they also donate 5% of each sale to charity in aid to those that can’t afford glasses or an eye exam. Vision is something we take for granted everyday yet there are people who can’t even get basic eye care.
I remind myself to take breaks from long hours parked on a computer in order to provide plenty of rest for my eyes. Not to mention getting an annual comprehensive eye and vision exam. I often feel empathetic towards people with poor eyesight especially blind people. I can’t even imagine a life without clear vision, literally. It’s vey humbling to see there are companies such as Dharma that demonstrate a compassion that goes beyond profit.

If you are looking for a sleek minimal watch, look no further. A metallic watch in a simple style is a modern-classic. Below are WorkChic’s favorite picks that are perfectly versatile for business wear. The minimal styling can be easily dressed up or down. I find it to be most chic when the watch is worn alone ~ it’s better to go solo than place in bad company so to speak.

Well, I want to share a few of my current favorite things. Shiny and glitzy ~ you know it’s that time of the year! Nothing expensive of course, but it’s all these little details that finish off the style, and puts a smile on my face.
- Equal parts dazzling and pretty, I couldn’t resist this Glam Case for my new iPhone 6 Plus. An affordable case with lots of shimmer, just what I was looking for. The champagne hue complements the gold tone perfectly. Browse through their entire collection for your new case or as a holiday gift.
- I love vintage-y costume jewelry. I like to visit flea markets for unique finds or simply browse online for deals. Right now, this Crystal Feather Bib necklace offers a major statement in sweet antique style for not much bank. Drape it over a crisp button shirt. And I wore this Cut-Out Spade Necklace in my previous personal outfit post.
- Go for va-va-voom lips with a L’Oreal Extraordinaire Color Riche Liquid Lipsticks (shown in Rouge Allegro). Amazing!
- Victoria’s Secret Secret Charm, what I can describe as a really pretty yet light floral with a hint of fruit. It must be the honeysuckle that makes this scent pleasing to my nose. I layer it over body butter in the same fragrance.
- I simply slip on my coral and gold cocktail ring any time I want to add a bit of warmth to my outfit. Here is another ring I love in a more rustic style.
- Those faux pearl earrings are from Michael’s. Yes, and they were on sale for $2.50!

This smaller Baker watch (28mm case) is just perfect for everyday wear without being right in your face. The best part to me are the colors, ‘mint + gold’ as the combination is refreshing yet warm. An easy way to complement your professional attire. See more color and style options here.
As a full-time blogger/writer, it’s important for me to have an inspiring workspace. An inspiring working environment to me is simply an uncluttered, neat & quiet place to sit along with a few essentials at my disposal. And yes, an outdoor view is a must. The right surroundings encourages work efficiency as well as creativity.
Some of the must-haves by my laptop are a cup of jasmine green tea, aromatic things like candles and rosemary, iPhone, notebooks and a stack of magazines. I also added these two accessories to brighten up my black desk – Monogrammed Acrylic Pencil Cup & Kate Spade Acrylic Stapler. Clear acrylic & gold screamed to be paired together!
Both of the items are from Design Darling, the online boutique & life style blog ran by Mackenzie Horan. Check her NYC apartment to see more of her dazzling decor style.
I used the pencil cup as a floral vase instead. You can use this versatile acrylic container however you wish! The stapler is proudly displaying on top of my mags unlike the ugly stapler that I hid inside the drawer prior.
A little change can enhance your working mood whether a fresh candle, flowers or small desk accessories. When things are pleasing to the eye, they sure are good for the mind! Take a look at this collection of ever-inspiring workspaces from chic home offices to outdoor studios.
Disclosure: Design Darling provided me with the accessories in exchange for writing a review. All opinions expressed in this post are purely my own.
