There is absolutely no reason not to enjoy leopard print at work.  The key to wearing leopard print is to stick with one key piece at a time.  Create a chic ensemble by keeping the rest of the outfit simple especially when wearing to the office – it’s easier to pull off than you think!  Add the right touch of glamour to your office ensemble with these bold yet elegant leopard-print pencil skirts.

The business-glam look made easy with a leopard skirt, red blouse, knit jacket, structured satchel, and T-strap pumps.  A splash of red (in this case it’s a buttoned blouse) goes fantastic with leopard prints while the rest of the black makes the overall look polished.

If you are still not sure about leopard prints, you can always start with accessories such as leopard-print scarves to complement your outfit. Accessories are a great way to ease into a trend or new style you are not completely sold on or comfortable with in terms of your comfort zone.

    Office Spy 2

For the month of August, Lucky Magazine brings one stylish real estate group from the big apple.  Click on the image for a detailed view.

    workplace outfits

Our favorite look is Jackie Buddie’s – Sheath Dress, Peep-Toe Pumps, Necklace, Satchel, Bangle Watch, Belt.  Her leather dress is unexpectedly chic and modern.  She softened up the edgy leather with simple accessories.  The dress we found is not leather but it’s in a similar classic sheath style in dark coral.  This versatile dress can be enjoyed all year round.

What to wear to a business dinner

Whether a small get together with coworkers or meeting up with clients, dressing for a business dinner can be tricky.  It’s smart to find out about the place you are going to before heading out.  After all, it’s a business dinner, you want to look and feel sophisticated and appropriate.  There are chic ways to show up in more than just a boring suit, plus you don’t want to appear as if you came straight from work in a hurry.

A few reminders, don’t show too much skin, dress sloppy (no flip-flops, cutoffs, tracksuit, wrinkled or stained clothes), or overdress for the occasion.  Here are three outfits for different business style dinner meetings.

    1. You can’t go wrong with a blouse and trousers.  Not too formal or casual.  Have fun with accessories – add a dash of color and shine to the outfit with patent pumps and sparkly jewelry.

Blouse, Trousers, Jacket, Pumps, Bag, Bangle, Earrings

    2. Dress to impress!  This outfit is suitable if you are going to a more serious dinner meeting with bosses, colleagues, or business clients.  You can look chic and professional without dressing too conservative.  Keep in mind, you are at the dinner meeting not at the corporate office.

Tank Blouse, Skirt, Cardigan, Booties, Clutch, Necklace, Watch

    3. How about a cocktail party?  Be more daring with the outfit while looking elegant.  A wrap dress fits the bill.  We’ve picked out these cool blue hued dresses.  They easily work for semi-formal and dressy casual depending on the accessories.  Put on a sleek blazer and classy heels for a formal event or wedge sandals and satchel for a more laid back gathering.
